Post-Divorce Modification

The circumstances of families are always changing. As they evolve, divorce agreements also need to change to accurately reflect updated situations. The law allows for adjustments in most areas of a divorce settlement, including but not limited to: child custody, parenting time, child support and spousal support.
When is it appropriate to seek a modification?
Whenever there has been a substantial change in or dispute over financial issues
Non-compliance with divorce settlement agreements
Parental income or employment status changes
A child develops a medical condition, or other special circumstances arises
Any other issues which impacts the well-being of the child.
