The circumstances of families are always changing. As they evolve, divorce agreements also need to change to accurately reflect updated situations. The law allows for adjustments in most areas of a divorce settlement,  including but not limited to: child custody, parenting time, child support and spousal support.

When is it appropriate to seek a modification?

  • Whenever there has been a substantial change in or dispute over financial issues

  • Non-compliance with divorce settlement agreements

  • Parental income or employment status changes

  • A child develops a medical condition, or other special circumstances arises 

  • Any other issues which impacts the well-being of the child.
